ANNUAL ELECTION OF SVTC'S CLASS I OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO TAKE PLACE IN JUNE

Attention SVTC Members:  We will conduct the election for class I of the SVTC Board of Directors in June, and this year we aim to do it electronically.  All members will vote in this election.  Our plan for the voting process is as follows:

  • We will identify our members who are eligible to vote as of June 1, 2009 (If you are not a member but would like to be, and would like to vote in the upcoming election, you will need to become one by then).
  • We will post the list of candidates and their biographies on our website and in our newsletter, so that our voters can cast informed ballots.
  • We will send each member of the SVTC an email containing a link for voting (please note that each email and link is individually generated and can only be used once), using a company called SurveyMonkeyLook for this email to arrive around June 5, 2009.  Each link will be active for several weeks before it becomes inactive.
  • Each member, whether individual or corporate, receives one vote per membership.
  • At the end of June, will have our annual meeting (likely a luncheon) and anyone who did not vote electronically can then vote in person.

Please let us know if you have any questions -- or suggestions!  (540) 568-7882, info@svtc-va.org.
