ADDITIONAL ENERGETIC PEOPLE SOUGHT FOR SVTC COMMITTEES

 
Recently, we had a board meeting and our directors have assigned themselves to committees - they are great vehicles for further in-depth work and involvement. There are three committees available that anyone is welcome to join - and each committee is looking for additional energetic contributors.

The Events and Programming Committee is in the process of planning the activities for fiscal year 2011-2012 (July 1, 2011 - June 30, 2012) and this team is hard at work.  If you've got ideas for "stuff" (regular events such as luncheons or special events such as tours) either join the committee or send me your suggestions (name the topic and the speaker, if possible): Nicky at info@svtc-va.org Led by Kurt Plowman and Ron Perry.

If events and programming is not your cup o' tea, there are two other committees that are welcoming energetic people as well. They are:

• Community Outreach
• Organization and Governance
